Mardis Gras 2022 Report (2022/03/04)
Last Sunday we all enjoyed another memorable event organized by the MMCC - the Hungarian Mardi Gras. There was lots of delicious home-cooked food, wine and great music, games and costume contests for the kids and for the kids at heart as well. DJ Gyorgy Toldi, MC Daniel Kadar and Katalin Sarosi, children's program organizer, made the event unforgettable for most of us. Heartfelt thanks to them and to all the volunteers for helping in the setting-up and the closing of the event.
I’ll let my pictures speak for themselves and would be thankful pictures or videos shared by the Mardi Gras guests.

May 1st of 2021 was an exciting day for many of us!
Although the weather did not cooperate with us at all, the rainy forecast did not deter many enthusiastic Hungarians from attending this year’s Mayfest. We even had quite a number of guests – including visiting dignitaries. Honoring us with their presence were his Excellency Ambassador of Hungary, Takács Szabolcs plus 6 additional diplomats from the Embassy in Washington D.C., Consul General, Széles Tamás from Los Angeles and Viceconsul Gábor Markocsány from Houston

2020 Year-End Report (2021/04/01)
We had wonderful plans for the new year as we optimistically welcomed the coming of 2020. The New Year’s Eve party we held – the first ever organized by the MMCC, was a great success. Before it ended, many were already talking about next year’s event. Unfortunately, nobody could foresee the devastating pandemic lurking around the corner which would bring our everyday lives to screeching halt.
