Mardi Gras (2020/02/23)

Hello everyone!

I see a lot of you posted, wrote about the successful Mardi Gras. Allow me to ad my thoughts and thanks. Unfortunately only the first 3 contestants could get a prize in the costume contest, but every child and adult was absolutely remarkable! In their costumes or makeups they all made the event be cheerful! I also want to thank Kati, Eszter and Vera for being the organizers of the games and for the judges too! Thanks to moms and dads for preparing the kids for this great, family fun event!
Thanks to Zsolt for the great music, Dani for being the wonderful moderator!
Kim, the caterer and her family deserves credit for their effort to please the large Hungarian crowd, and I am glad for Ilona thanking them on the spot.
Hart felt thanks to Gabor Haklar and his wife Betty - who brought all those yummy donuts, coffee and if I am not mistaken, some drinks too - all these free of charge!!!!!!
Thank to Zsombor for distributing the wine so patiently, and for gathering the recyclables at the end!
Special thanks to all who came a little early, and worked so feverishly in setting up the tables, chairs, and decorations! Without all those helping hands we could not have been able to do it in record time (one hour)! Also my appreciations go to all who helped at closing to clean up in also record time!
I have to apologize for a minor mishap. When I prepared the appetizers at home, I had crackers and bread packed to go with them, but that box was left in the car, and I found it only when we got home. Sorry!
