Lelila Ditta Hargitai’s Piano Concert in Plano, Texas (2025/06/27)
Thanks to Professor Tamas Ungar and the MMCC, (Metroplex Magyar Cultural Circle) the DFW Hungarian community members could enjoy a wonderful piano concert offered by the young Hungarian talent, Leila Ditta Hargitai.
It was a treat to hear some of the masterpieces composed by Beethoven, Scriabin, Chopin, and Bartók in her vivacious and enthusiastic interpretation.
Following Leila’s program, the group had a chance to meet and take photos with her during the reception and to also sample delicious home-made pastries, fruits, cheeses - and most importantly - some fine Hungarian wines. It was a lovely evening. After the Kawai Gallery’s closing, about 25-30 fans went to a nearby Olive Garden for dinner.
Thanks to all for the support that made this wonderful musical event possible for the Hungarian community!
