The Metroplex Magyar Cultural Circle (MMCC) invites you to attend the Commemoration of the 1848/1849 Hungarian Revolution.
Date: March 12, 2023
Time: 5:00 p.m. (after the Hungarian Mass)
Place: Cistercian Abbey
3660 Cistercian Rd, Irving, TX 75039
We will commemorate the folloving anniversaries:
175 year of the 1848/49 Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight
200 year of the Hungarian National Anthem written by Kölcsey Ferenc
200 year of Petőfi Sándor, Hungarian revolutionary poet’s birthday
We’d kindly ask all of you to please bring some of your favorite home-cooked meals or appetizers or desserts to share with your friends.The MMCC will provide water, soft drinks, and coffee
