Commemoration of the Hungarian Revolution (2021/10/24)

You Are Also Invited to the Commemorative Program of the 65th Anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Freedom Fight & Revolution. Sunday, October 24, 2 - 6 PM at the Plaza Art Center, 1115 Forth Avenue, Carrolton, TX, 75006.

• Opening – with the national anthems
• Recognizing the guests of honor, the 1956’ers
• Guest of honor – former ambassador, Dr. Szemerkényi Réka
• Slide show presentation of the DFW 56-ers, poetry

Lunch: Provided by Brigitta’s Hungarian Restaurant (Kilgore, TX) and served by our young guests
Menu: Appetizers, Chicken paprikash with spaetzle or Mushroom pork stew and mashed potato. Also, homemade Hungarian desserts, Hungarian wine, relish, coffee, soft drinks, and water.
